Rachel’s favorite thing is seeing the way a song can light someone up and remind them they’re not alone.

  • Rachel Alena was born into a musical family in Los Angeles. Her dad played guitar in Phil Spector’s legendary Wall of Sound, mom sang in a band with him, grandpa was a singer and her sister could play music by ear. You could say music was in her DNA.

As a young child, Rachel spent hours singing and playing piano, totally inspired by hearing her dad’s music on the radio. Dreaming of the day she’d make her own mark her supportive mom signed her up for lessons.

In middle school she would hear singing coming from the little brown church next to where they lived. Her dad nudged her to check it out and sure enough, she got invited to join the Sweet Adelines…becoming their youngest member in history. That’s where she fell in love with harmonies and saw just how much joy music could bring to others. Music was just...life.

With a natural gift, Rachel scored lead roles in musicals, joined bands and booked her first paid session studio gig at 13 playing the lead role of in the children’s album ‘Toad’.

She would go on to graduate from the Dick Grove School of Music with a major in voice and a minor in piano, work as a session singer and tour with bands across the US.

These days, Rachel is a passionate singer/songwriter. She’s also a distinguished voice actor and talent agent whose voice has been heard on thousands of projects. She believes music brings people together no matter where they come from. Her favorite thing? Seeing the way a song can light someone up and remind them they’re not alone.
